Interior of the extra fare Deluxe Tourist car in which my friends Allen Montgomery, Lenny Wyatt and yours truly had the privilege of riding.
Our car attendant was a nursing student and we had a good time teasing her.
Lenny and Allen were anticipating a 'fun day'. With beautiful weather and engine #484 running well with Engineer Tracy Mudd at the controls, we were not disappointed! Back in 1971, when I first rode the C&TS, #484 also did the honors!
